3.5 Ships (M=Mounted) Note: Sizes may change during development

Due to the unique characteristics of this ships design, it blends into a spatial warp that allows it to become invisible beyond distances of 2000 meters. Due to the warp effect though, it can be detected in high light areas.

·         Raider Ship (SF-111, HF27) Fighter/Bombers

These are all-round-fighter-class ships! These ships are fast, expensive, and heavily armed. Designed for primary attack it carries a lethal bite and carries a medium load of missiles, Gravity Mines, and Particle Cannon ammo. This ship is able to starburst allowing it to assist in galactic battles but does not have the shielding to perform atmospheric attacks and can burn up during entry.

Strong and cumbersome, this resilient ship carries a vast weapon system. Primarily used for bomber missions to attack large targets and surface installations, this vehicle is less agile in atmospheric conditions and becomes more vulnerable.

The LAT-64 Gunship is a heavily armed attack ship. Fast and agile the LAT-64 Gunship enables the pilot to transition from space to atmosphere without problem. Armed with the Particle cannon (turret), laser, HS Missiles, and chaff. Turret Cannon can be directed with auto target lock. (2400 rds) Laser is a fixed forward directed weapon.

·         Shield Ship (SSH4u)

The Shield Ship is primarily a defensive ship providing force protection, equipped with a subspace modifier it can effectively defeat enemy radar from seeing a 1 Km circle around and aft of the ship.. The size of this bubble is restricted by the ships energy. It however, can be supplemented by using other shield ships by flying a .5 to 1 Km wing, thus hiding more ships. Ships in the bubble have to maintain their position in the bubble themselves otherwise they become visible (or maybe they could burst the bubble this way and unhide all other ships included ). The downfall of this ship is that it carries only limited ammo that does not draw energy.

A new class ship in FreeRaider; using a slow healing/refueling 'tube' this slowly refuels, rearms, and repairs other friendly ships. This ship is equipped with light weaponry and uses more evasive measures (such as EMP Mines, to get out of sticky situations..)

The MR-42 can be fully automated and can be positioned to support battles. The shortcomings of doing this is the capability of the AI is limited, not allowing Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP)s to be used to increase survival. It basically becomes a sitting duck.  

Two docking pads are located on the top fore and aft location of the ship – that’s where the fighters have to dock to rearm and repair.

While they are in repair/rearm mode they cannot move but are visible and vulnerable to enemy ships. There is an emergency release, but this disables that pad until repairs are made, usually taking up to 5 minutes to repair.

The MR42 has a specific limit to serve the fighters. The MR42 carries a compliment of support bots to automate repair, rearm, and repair task. Task of the bots may be diverted by the command pilot, reducing the ability to repair other task.

Limited to Laser defensive turrets located in the front and rear of ship. Added shields increase survivability, but not by much. This is not an offensive ship, strictly performs a support role.

Beyond that it has to return to base itself.
